These design sites really interest me, and I realize that may be mostly due to my Graphic Design bias, but hopefully these design sites don't bore you guys too much. There'e enough raw visual illustration and hand drawn flare to satisfy us both.

This guy is studying over at Art Center of Design (= huge debt), but some of his stuff is pretty fun. He's got some funny paintings of highschool wrestlers getting twisted and pinned with super serious calm faces among other funny scenarios. His paintings were my favorite. link

Former Anniversary member, Justin Roelofs, has a new solo project: "White Flight." After spending a summer in South America and getting lost in the rain forests of Peru while halucinating on the psychadelic potion Ayahuasca, Justin returned to the suburbs of Kansas to confront his childhood conditioning, and recreated himself through an album that dances with multiculturism, individualism, and all things seen through a prism. Check it out—the videos are great. ----->rangeliferecords.com

I've put up a few designs on my blog blog (cerparley); they are old work but I thought I'd share anyways. I plan on throwing up something new every week. Any remarks/criticisms are welcomed. And keep up the good work both of you—i'm watching.

My buddy zach showed me this site: This guys been taking extremely close-up personal, uncomfortably intimate portraits of homeless people everyweek. I'm a firm believer in the fact that you can tell a lot about a person's life experiences and hardships through the contours and ware on their face and expressions. This site contains hundreds of portraits, and one of my favorite parts are the short quotes below each picture from each individual being photographed, they say some diverse stuff. link

OK, I finally made my personal photo blog, Photo Visual. My goal is to post AT LEAST one new photo a day. I may need some encouragement in this, so please check it out and let me know if you have any problems with it, I think it still may have a few bugs to be smashed.
oh and for you nerds out there....

Blu the italian artist, is probably in my top five artists right now. His line drawings remind me alot of Shel Silverstien but his choice of content is extremely more bizarre. He's insanely creative and productive, a lethal combination. Proof of this would be his most recent endeavor (I'm jealous i didn't think of doing this with my buddies), him and the creative film-artist Lorenzo Fonda are traveling across Mexico, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Costa Rica and Argentina meeting with artists and creating huge wall murals. Blu's stuff is so spontaneous and diverse, I'm beyond excited to watch the documentary they're making of the entire trip. Anyway, they have a blog up on BLU's Site, so click the link below to see pics and updates about their adventure, and get excited for the doc.
