Far ahead of his time, Charley Harper is well known to 40+ year olds for his illustrations found in chirldrens books. His ability to depict something with a series of simple circles and boxes is so advanced he could have thrived as a graphic artist.
A flickr group full of his work.

Note: This isn't spam, or some advertisement. Its a sincere recommendation.
This isn't super art related, but still helpful. I've been using Google Reader the last few months, and its extremely helpful. It creates a kind of "inbox for the web". You just add the address to your favorite sites/blogs and it tells you when you check your google reader inbox if new items have been added to those sites. Its great for blogs cause then you don't have to go clicking around to check to see if anything new has been added. It also doesn't show/load a bunch of advertisements and other banners when you check those sites. This probably doesn't make a lot of sense, so scope out the link below, and try it out. Be sure and add the Abominable Art Blog feed. (a "feed" is just an address). Its really easy to use, its just like gmail.
Here's a video introduction:
What is Google Reader
If you can't figure out how to use it, try this video.

The Holiday break is over and its time I start posting again. Sorry for the lull. I really don't have any new work to show, but I did just finish this background illustration for a project at work. It's a program to encourage youth to go outside and explore nature. This is their "nature club" treehouse. I'll post up more work from this project if you're interested.
