After finding this great photography site I decided to try the DIY CD Jewel case frame project with a poster rather than a few 4 X 6 photos. This is what my chopped up 24 x 36 poster turned out like.

non violent resistance
This flash movie is political in nature, so if you're into that...cool. If not you should check it out anyway. The use of the text in giving a visual picture is amazing. Very inspiring both politically and artistically.

Originality; From Canada to NYC: Jullian Tamaki
Married to the talented Sam Weber, Jullian Tamaki is anything but in his shadow. She's a canadian native living in Brooklyn with her husband. Canada just pumps out groundbreaking illustrators, whats the deal?! Her color pallets, and unique almost ugly style of rendering people is intriguing. She's a female comicbook creator and an impressive one at that, also an amazingly original and creative artist. A talented illustrator, comicbook creating female, who doesn't dress like a vampire or have a flat-top, definatly a rare find. link

Synth Rock, Elves, Yeti and Robots: Megan Whitmarsh
What empressed me the most about her was her embroidery of sasquatch sporting ghetto blasters and white kids breakdancing. Her overall choice of content is very inline with my interests. I guess she's even gotten a few children's books published entitled "Snow Monkeys". Scope her site at tiny industries

Streaks
I was playing around in the back seat while riding home from seeing the pentecostal/born again/ex-convict/caucasian rapper: scoob serious. I like how the colors turned out.
