Christian Faur: Complex Simplicity

Maybe one of the more formal artists we've featured on here, Christian has done some cool stuff using simple crayons in a creative way. I'm not that into his paintings and other work, but I've set up the link below to go straight to his crayon pieces.

Cool Website...

Once in awhile you run into a great website. A design that makes your jaw drop. This is one of those sites. The music is pretty good too!

Be sure to click on one of the songs to see him sing along.

Check out Travis' current and archived work HERE

No surprise this retro driven illustrator was brought to my attention by ISO50.

Daniel Krall: Lovely Lines

Scope his beautiful color palettes, line work, and compositions. I'm not sure what his medium is, but some is digital (Illustrator) yet some of his work is defiantly hand drawn/inked. I wish I knew for sure so I could get that line quality.

Improv Everywhere

Matts post reminded me of this great group who does a bunch of big pranks in public areas, one of them in the Grand Central Station like the T-Mobile ad.

They have a bunch of videos on their site, I included some of my favs below:

Creative Campaign

As much as I don't like my current phone service with T-Mobile, I have to admit this was a pretty original ad campaign. From what I understand they had "dance-off" tryouts and the winners were placed throughout this UK terminal and would join in the dance as it progressed. The public bystanders were all oblivious, and some actually join in at times. Fun advertising.

Jared Eberhardrt: And Action

I'd love to get into this type of video work. Although I want to get a nicer video camera to try things out.
