Si Scott's Skill

Amazing typographic illustrator. This style has been attempted by lots of designers/illustrators, but this guy Si Scott does it better. He's worked for some big clients like, Casio, Volvo and Nike. Scope out his site Si Scott. beware of nudies

Graduation – Finally

My wife and I are finally going to be done with school! I'm excited to not be a student. I've been in the education system sense I was 5 yrs old. This is a quick little envelope sized graduation announcement I made because I get depressed looking at the awful generic ones they provide students with these days. I had a good laugh after doing the illustrations because they don't look like us, but I gave it a shot. Enjoy

PS> Cast your vote on where we should move after graduation. Right now my options are Logan UT, Las Vegas NV, and Salt Lake City UT.

You work for them

I stumbled upon this website while looking for typefaces and think it's pretty cool. Their fonts are unique and reasonably priced. This is just a product that they sell-its a huge coloring book. I think Auri might like this in a few years.

Björk Video: Fightingly Captivating

I saw these music videos by Encyclopedia Pictura and they were by far the most visually captivating things I've seen in years. Both videos are fairly long, so don't watch them unless you've got 10 minutes to pour pop-rocks on your brain. They further support my theory that the music video is the perfect vehicle to combine all mediums of creativity.

Nathan Mazur: kid-tested, mother-approved!

Nathan Mazur is righthand illustrator to both Parry Gripp (of Nerf Herder ¿fame?) and iknowthat.com (a children's educational website). His cartoony style breeds creatures that belong on Futurama and captioned works that smack of a Zach Attack.

When navigating his site ((scaredofbees.com)) take a stroll through the "wee beasties" gallery.
