I first saw Chris' book "In Katrinas Wake" and his images of the damage Hurricane Katrina left in Louisiana. I just recently came across his site with photos that show the huge amounts of american mass consumption, and a second series that show the amounts of man made product that is used daily, hourly, yearly, etc. You can check his stuff out here: http://www.chrisjordan.com/

Yet Another Experimental Animation
Here I used a program called Moho, it was pretty easy, and I think I could do some cool stuff if I mess around with it enough.

Illustration Friday: Green
This weeks theme on Illustration Friday was "green". I did a different drawing of a gangsta flapping "Green-backs" around and standing infront of marijuana plants all done in different green colors, but I thought it was a little too edgy for Illustration Friday. This version was easier to swallow.

Recent Animation
Experimenting with FLASH animation. There's music so it may take a sec to load. Its really short, just a demo clip, I was trying to figure out running. His arms are super robotic, but it made me laugh. Enjoy:

Ji Lee: "Power" in design
Ji Lee—South Korean born, Brazilian raised, NY art student—is an incredible conceptual designer. His professional work is cool, but his independent projects are what's most attractive. He created a typeface called "Wens" that is super and bends the horizons in language, text and imagery: producing images and text through a self-repeating and innate nature—the above image reads "POWER," self-reflexively, over and over. I'm really into these conceptual designs and pattern productions at the moment.
