Nose Bleeder

Here's a recent illustration I've made. I've been in a real old Punk Rock mood lately. Its all I feel like listening to. Its similar to my phases with food. One month I'll eat non-stop pasta, the next month its turkey sandwiches. I'm the same with music. This month its all "The Clash", "Generation X" (check'em out if you haven't, its early Billy Idol), "Rancid", "Op Ivy", and even some of "The Kinks". Who knows maybe next month I'll be pure Patsy Cline?

I dig this. I've been listening to a lot of nofx lately so I feel ya on the whole punk rock binge. On a side note, regarding punk "style" and youth subcultures (rastafarians, mods, teddy boys, punks, etc) there's an excellent book that examines the meaning of these styles, as signs, and their emergence and transformations in lieu of their counterparts (usually immigrants from Africa and the West Indies). Very interesting read. It's called: "Subculture: The Meaning of Style" by Dick Hebdige.
